Dr. Diana Chavkin is a leading REI physician dedicated to helping individuals and couples achieve their family-building goals through advanced, evidence-based fertility care. She specializes in IVF protocol optimization, third-party reproduction (egg donation and surrogacy), reciprocal IVF and LGBTQ+ family building, minimal stimulation IVF, fertility preservation (egg and embryo freezing), oncofertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Chavkin also has extensive experience managing infertility due to diminished ovarian reserve, advanced maternal age, male and tubal factors, unexplained infertility, PCOS, and anovulation.

Dr. Chavkin earned her medical degree from New York University and completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she studied psychology and history. Prior to becoming a physician, she worked as a middle school math and science teacher in New York City, which helped shape her approachable, educational style of patient care.

Dr. Chavkin is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. She has been honored with multiple peer-reviewed accolades, including Top Doctors Los Angeles(LA Magazine), Southern California Super Doctors, and Southern California Rising Stars. She has also contributed to leading medical journals and co-authored chapters in key texts on reproductive medicine.
